Meet your therapist
Hi, I'm Shanna Gatlin
LPC, PLLC
I believe therapy should be a place where you can slow down, be honest about what you're experiencing, and feel comfortable being yourself. My work is rooted in genuine curiosity about who you are, what you've been through, and where you want to go.
I hold a Master's degree in Counseling and am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I've worked with adults and adolescents navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, identity, and the quieter struggles that don't always have a name.
I bring an unhurried presence to every session—a space where you can slow down, feel heard, and be yourself.
My approach
Therapy that feels like a conversation, not a diagnosis.
I practice from a person-centered, relational foundation — which means I follow your lead. You set the pace. We go where you need to go. I'm not here to fix you, because you're not broken.
I draw from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based approaches — but I hold these lightly. What matters most is what works for you.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Identifying and reshaping thought patterns that keep you stuck.
Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Building psychological flexibility and living in alignment with your values.
Mindfulness-Based Approaches
Cultivating present-moment awareness to reduce anxiety and increase clarity.
Person-Centered Therapy
A warm, collaborative relationship as the foundation for all healing.
